B.A. M.Ed. (Adult Ed.)

Clare Morrison holds a Master of Education in Adult Education (MEd Ad Ed) from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Adelaide in addition to a Certificate IV Assessment and Workplace Training.

She was fortunate during her work towards her Masters Degree to have direct exposure to a number of influential Australian academics in the field of organisational learning. As a result, she is familiar with the most contemporary approaches to organisational analysis and the development of strategies to address systemic barriers to change. As a business analyst and adult educator, Clare has considerable expertise in project management, policy development, strategic planning, research and statistical analysis.

Her background in senior quality assurance and management roles with The Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency Ltd has given her in-depth knowledge and sound understanding of accreditation processes in the residential aged care sector. In these roles, she was responsible for high-level projects including developing a Quality Assurance Framework for the Agency and collaborated in the review of audit tools and industry resources. This period also coincided with ISO accreditation of the Agency and Clare was actively involved in this process.

Building on this knowledge, Clare moved to the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards where she was responsible for educating healthcare Quality Managers on continuous improvement and quality assurance under the Evaluation and Quality Improvement Program (EQuIP) for accreditation of healthcare organisations. Clare also collaborated in the review of the EQuIP standards, which were recently released as EQuIP4.

Clare recently joined the team at StanCert as a Lead Consultant. StanCert is a global leader in helping organisations, governments and various industry sectors improve business efficiency, productivity and market access through the innovative use of standards.
